Are your products suitable for vegetarians and vegans?Updated 2 months ago

Many of our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and this information is clearly displayed on each individual product page.

How to check if a product is vegan or vegetarian

  1. Visit the product page for the supplement you're interested in at www.metabolics.com

  2. Scroll to the "Suitable For" section near the top of the page

  3. You'll see clear indicators showing:

    • Suitable for vegetarians: Yes/No

    • Suitable for vegans: Yes/No

What information is included on product pages

Each product page provides complete dietary information, including:

  • Vegetarian and vegan suitability clearly marked

  • Full ingredient list with forms and strengths

  • Allergen information (gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.)

  • Capsule shell composition (many use vegetable-based shells)

  • Certifications and quality standards

Vegan product range

We offer a growing range of 100% vegan products, including:

  • Vegan Vitamin D3 and K2 (sourced from algae, not lanolin)

  • Vegan Joint and Bone Support

  • Lectin Support (no shellfish-derived ingredients)

  • TREG Support

You can use the filters on our website to browse all vegan-suitable products.

Why we use algae-based vitamin D3

Many vitamin D3 supplements are derived from lanolin (sheep's wool), making them unsuitable for vegans. Our vegan vitamin D3 products use 100% algae-derived D3, providing the same bioavailability without any animal-derived ingredients.

Capsule shells

Where capsules are used, we clearly state the capsule shell composition on the product page. Many of our products use vegetable-based capsule shells rather than gelatine.
