At the moment Metabolics is not able to send orders to Germany. This affects all German delivery addresses, including those entered at checkout or in the address book.
Why can’t I ship to Germany?
We are currently experiencing an ongoing issue with German Customs relating to the import of nutritional supplements from outside the EU.
Until this is resolved, we have had to disable shipping to Germany to avoid problems, delays and possible returns at the border.
This is a customs and regulatory matter and does not affect our ability to ship to many other countries.
My German address will not work at checkout
If your German address is not accepted, or Germany does not appear as an available shipping destination:
This is because we have temporarily disabled Germany as a shipping option while the customs issue is investigated.
Changing the format of your address will not fix the issue; the restriction is set at country level and applies to all German postcodes.
Are you going to start shipping to Germany again?
Metabolics is actively looking into a solution and is waiting for clearer guidance from German Customs on how nutritional supplements can be imported from outside the EU without problems or delays.
The aim is to resume shipping to Germany once there is a reliable process that will allow orders to be delivered smoothly and compliantly.
Unfortunately, there is no confirmed timescale for when this will be resolved.
What can I do in the meantime?
You may wish to speak to a local healthcare practitioner or retailer in Germany about alternative options available within the country’s own distribution and regulatory system.
